Objectives

Basic concepts of Project Management, Risk Management, Financial Principles and Change Management. Simulation rounds to highlight the Lean and Six Sigma benefits

Guidance to compile Project Charters and action items for participants business’s issues and needs

Who the course is for

Preferably College Degree or& Diploma in Technical discipline with a min of 3 years of hands on work experience. At least 2 years experience in processes or projects in their domain.
Basic knowledge on use of MS Excel Power Point
Knowledge of statistical concepts and Data analysis techniques is desirable

Course Contents

On successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

Utilize the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and Lean techniques for Business Problem solving & Business Growth initiatives
Develop a project charter for common business problems and growth initiatives
Understand business processes, Compile process maps and key metrics
Understand Data collection methods and analyze data in various forms
Utilize the right Lean and Six Sigma tools for process and data analysis
Generate Improvement ideas and their implementation plans
Ensure sustainable implementation of solutions

The course uses a mixture of theory, exercises and simulation to understand the principles. The course emphasizes the practical approaches of using Lean Six Sigma for solving Business problems in various domains and processes. The exercises will cover data analysis from different domains
