Objectives
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of ISO 14001 & BS OHSAS 18001 would be of benefit. Lack of this will not be detrimental to those contemplating, or in the process of, implementing a system to achieve compliance
Who the course is for
This course is designed for; all levels of management and those whose responsibility it is to implement new systems or maintain existing systems; with special responsibility for ensuring compliance to legal requirements.
All those involved in advising and auditing EMS and OHSMS. The course will be particularly useful for delegates planning to attend IRCA certified EMS or OHSMS Auditor Training Courses.
Course Contents
At the conclusion of this course delegates will have been provided with:
- Understanding requirements of compliance obligation from both EMS & OHSMS standards
- Identification Vs. Evaluation
- Structure of Indian Environmental & OHSMS legislation
- How to interpret the legislations – some tips and examples
- Workshops to discuss different laws and understanding them better
- Tools to effectively monitor and maintain legal compliances.
